Tutorial provides C programmers in-depth info on FairCom’s NAV API
New resource makes it easy for developers to wield unprecedented control over all aspects of a database
Note: c-treeACE became FairCom DB in November 2020.
When our customers are asked how they would describe their FairCom database, the words “speed,” “reliability” and “flexibility” are used without hesitation.
One of the main reasons developers are able to achieve these attributes of high performance is the NAV API: A dynamic record-navigation API based on the relational database model. This powerful FairCom tool is an integral part of the engine running our FairCom DB multimodel database, FairCom EDGE IoT and Industry 4.0 solution and c-treeRTG data management suite of solutions.
The NAV API provides developers with a much greater degree of control than other databases. Developers can control almost every aspect of the database, allowing them to do only what is needed and nothing more to ensure reliability, speed and efficiency. The NAV API (formally known as the c-treeDB, ISAM, and Low-level APIs) is used by C developers in mission-critical, core business systems in a wide range of industries.
A new resource is now available in the FairCom online library that provides insight into the power of the NAV API for C developers. The NAV API for C Tutorial details the major functions and level of control available.
In addition to a NAV API for C developers, we have an object-oriented version for C++, Java, C#, Visual Basic .NET, and Node.JS developers. Also, be sure to check out these white papers that provide information about the NAV API and FairCom DB and NAV API and FairCom EDGE.
