Celebrating 20 Years With FairCom
What happens after you live with FairCom for 20 years? HUGE THANK YOUS! Congratulations to Randal Hoff for 20 years of outstanding dedication and service to FairCom!
Nearly every customer has had contact with Randal over the last 20 years, through phone, email, and many times directly in person.
1991
Randal joined FairCom waaaay back in 1991. Since then, FairCom offices have moved twice, and two additional foreign offices were added (FairCom Japan and FairCom Brazil). He’s seen a lot in that time!

- The first web site built was put online at CERN
- The Dead Sea Scrolls were made available for the first time (Rumors that Randal is mentioned in them.)
- Linus Torvalds posts Usenet messages about a new operating system kernel (Remember Usenet?)
- Sonic the Hedgehog series first published by Sega
- Joey Logano (NASCAR driver) was born in 1991
- Terminator 2, Silence of the Lambs and City Slickers were the popular movies of the time
- The Twins beat the Braves
- The New York Giants defeated the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXV (the only Super Bowl game decided by one point)
- Comedy Central was launched
- Pan Am ended operations
