FairCom included in Gartner’s Critical Capabilities Report for Operational Database Management Systems

The report analyzes vendor capabilities and client implementation with use cases

COLUMBIA, MO (Marketwired - Dec 21, 2015) — FairCom, the pioneer in multimodel NoSQL and SQL integrated database management, today announced Gartner, Inc. has included it in its December 2015 report on Critical Capabilities for Operational Database Management Systems. The report is recommended as a companion to this year’s Magic Quadrant, as it “combines vendor capabilities and client implementation experience to provide guidance.”

FairCom was also positioned in the Magic Quadrant for Operational Database Management Systems for the second consecutive year. In this report, vendors and products are analyzed according to Gartner’s nine most important functional capabilities across the major identified use cases: Traditional Transactions, Distributed Variable Data, Lightweight Events and Observations, and Hybrid Transaction/Analytical Processing (HTAP).

“We’re proud of the niche we’ve carved out in traditional transactions, and with so many solutions emerging on the market, we’ll continue to keep our focus on helping customers develop the right mix of database technologies for their unique application needs,” said Alysha Brown, COO of FairCom. “We’re looking forward to next year’s report and case studies’ results, which will reflect the more than 300 enhancements we’ve made to FairCom DB late this year.”

The Magic Quadrant and Critical Capabilities report were based on FairCom DB’s feature set in July 2015 and do not include the advancements made in the version 11 release, announced by FairCom in November 2015.
