FairCom fights leukemia in annual Paint Run
Annual fundraiser results in colorful time for all
FairCom officially kick-started summer this year with its friends in Vertova, Italy, for the annual Paint Run. This annual event raises money for the fight against leukemia, a deadly cancer of the human body’s blood-forming tissues. This marks the 10-year anniversary for FairCom supporting the charitable organization. Over the years, FairCom has supported many of its fundraising events, however since being introduced in 2016, the Paint Run has quickly become a FairCom favorite.
In addition to being a sponsor, members of the FairCom Europe team based in the company’s Bergamo office (which is located outside of Milan) participated by running or as volunteers in the annual event that took place on June 2. This year’s event attracted more than 1,000 runners of all age ranges.
The Paint Run, is a non-competitive 5-km race in Vertova and organized by the “Friends of Vertova” to raise money for the fight against leukemia. The festivities also included music and other activities in Vertova and Colzate. All proceeds from the event were donated to the Paolo Belli Association for use in the fight against leukemia.
