FAQ About What Our New c-treeACE Editions Mean To Existing ACE Customers

For Customers With a Signed Agreement With FairCom

  1. Does my cost/price change?

    No. Your price is dictated by the terms of your contract with us and does not change.

  2. Does my license change?

    No. Your license is also dictated by the terms of your contract with us and is unaffected.

  3. I noticed there are restrictions in terms of available cache, database size and hardware. Do these apply to me?

    No. These restrictions do not apply to you.

  4. I noticed your pricing is now per user and/or per core. Does this apply to me?

    No. Your pricing remains per the definition of your contract. If you are interested in a per core or per user pricing, we are happy to discuss this, but it would involve an amendment to your existing contract.

For Customers Without a Signed Agreement With FairCom

  1. Does my cost/price change?

    When you purchase a V11 server, you’ll need to make some choices about whether to purchase based on concurrent users or CPU cores and also which server edition best fits your needs. Find more detailed information regarding those considerations.

    For specific prices, contact the FairCom office nearest you.

  2. I noticed there are restrictions in terms of available cache, database size and hardware. Do these apply to me?

    Yes, they will so both your business and technical teams need to be aware of the different editions in V11. We’re happy to speak with you about this, and can get you evaluation editions as needed for testing. Note that the c-treeACE Professional SDK includes an Enterprise edition of our server technology.
