Who We Are

Information Collection

To fulfill your requests for products and services, we may ask you for and then store certain personally identifiable information that you provide including your:

Google Analytics collects visitation information and associates it with Google information from accounts of signed-in users who have consented to this association for the purpose of ads personalization. This Google information may include end user location, search history, YouTube history, and data from sites that partner with Google—and is used to provide aggregated and anonymized insights into users’ cross device behaviors. FairCom will adhere to the Google Advertising Features Policy, including rules around sensitive categories, and have the necessary privacy disclosures and rights from end users for such association. Data may be accessed and/or deleted at Google’s My Activity page.

We also collect and store information you provide to us during:

  • phone calls
  • interactions via email and our support portal
  • online chat
  • community forums
  • in-person interactions such as at a conference, tradeshow, or on-site visit

How We Use the Information

The information we collect may be used to:

  • satisfy your requests for products and services
  • respond to your inquiries
  • provide you with more targeted content
  • send you information about FairCom products
  • comply with our legal obligations
  • enforce our agreements
  • improve our products and services

We may further use the information we collect to measure the number of visitors to the different sections of our site and to improve the content and navigation of our site so that it is more useful to visitors. In addition, we may also use the information to contact you regarding changes to our privacy policy or other policies that may affect you and your use of our website, products, and services.

Information Storage and Security

The information collected may be stored within FairCom-owned facilities and applications, or within third-party facilities and cloud applications including, but not limited to, Zendesk, HubSpot, G-Suite (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Meet), and backup providers.

We have reasonable security measures in place to help protect your personally identifiable information collected through our website. We also have service agreements and other documentation from third-party cloud application providers as to their security practices. However, we make no guarantees as to the safety or security of any information transmitted to or from this site.

We retain the information that you provide for as long as we consider it potentially useful in contacting you about our products and services, or as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Thereafter, we will delete that information or remove any personally identifiable information.

International Visitors

FairCom welcomes visitors from around the world. This section of the Privacy Policy provides information about FairCom’s compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations and  other relevant international regulations.

What is the legal basis on which FairCom relies to process personal data?
On most occasions, FairCom processes personal data with your consent (e.g., when you agree that FairCom may place cookies on your machine or when you enter your information on a FairCom website for a specified purpose).

On other occasions, FairCom may process your personal data when we need to do so to fulfill a contract (for example, for billing purposes) or where FairCom is required to do this by law.

If necessary, FairCom may also process your data when it is in FairCom’s legitimate interests to do this such as if we obtained your information at a tradeshow or when you downloaded marketing collateral. FairCom will process your information in such cases to pursue our legitimate interests, provided these interests are not otherwise overridden by your data protection rights. 

Who is responsible for the data?

Your rights
You may ask FairCom for a copy of your information, to correct it, erase it, or to transfer it to other organizations at your request. You also have rights to object to some processing and, where FairCom has asked for your consent to process your data, to withdraw this consent. Where FairCom processes your data because FairCom has a legitimate interest in doing so (as explained above), you also have a right to object to this. These rights may be limited in some situations – for example, where FairCom can demonstrate that it has a legal requirement to process your data.

FairCom hopes to satisfy queries you may have about the way FairCom processes your data.

However, if you have unresolved concerns you may also have the right to make a complaint to the relevant data protection supervisory authority or to seek a remedy through the courts if you believe that your rights have been breached.
